In order to maintain academic integrity and a safe learning environment for staff and students, Henkle Middle School is an Electronic Personal Device Free School.  Students electronic devices may not be on them during the day and must be kept in their locker.  If they have an emergency, we have a phone in the office they may use.

  • PE is every other day 1st or 2nd period opposite of a ELA/Math Seminar Class. 
  • Content Area Classes - ELA, Math, History, and Science 
  • Elective Classes are 6th period on rotating A/B Schedule

Advisory 

  • Similar to a homeroom class
  • You will have your advisor for two years
  • This time is dedicated to:
    • Social Emotional Learning conversations
    • Team Building Activities 
    • Sustained Silent Reading
    • Checking  Skyward for Grades and Schedule 

Lockers

  • You will have two lockers:  PE locker and hallway locker

PE Uniforms

  • Students are required to wear a PE uniform
  • Uniforms can be purchased at Open House or at anytime in the office
  • 8th graders can use the same uniform from last year

  • Fall: Football, Girls Volleyball, Girls Soccer, Cross Country
  • Winter: Girls Basketball, Wrestling
  • Winter (after Christmas): Boys Basketball, Knowledge Bowl
  • Spring: Track
